The Story.
Our recycled fabrics are a result of innovative recycling efforts. They are made from recycled polyester yarns sourced from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) single-use bottles.
journey of our recycled fabrics
The production process begins with the collection of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) single-use bottles.
The plastic is then processed into tiny particles, which are transformed into plastic pellets.
These pellets are melted and converted into the recycled yarn.
The recycled yarn is then woven into fabrics that are free from Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs).
FAQ
TOV Furniture is committed to sustainability and incorporates it into our packaging practices by using recycled material boxes and maximizing cargo space to reduce waste and emissions. We also re-use materials in our engineered boards and are exploring the use of biodegradable bags for furniture packaging.
Our fabrics are dyed with minimal Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), which are harmful to air quality and respiratory health. This ensures that our fabrics are environmentally friendly and safe for use in your home.
By choosing furniture made with our recycled fabrics, you're making a conscious choice to support sustainability. For every 1000 meters of these fabrics used in our furniture, we help bring back 400 kg of plastic waste to the economy. This is equivalent to recycling 46 PET 1L empty bottles per meter, making a tangible difference in reducing plastic pollution.
In addition to our current practices, such as using recycled material boxes and maximizing cargo space, we are experimenting with recyclable honeycomb packaging for casegoods in Vietnam. We also plan to add more upcycled products to our collection to further reduce our environmental impact.
